Although transport makes up over a quarter of Canberra's carbon emissions today, it is one of the key enablers of a carbon neutral city tomorrow. And while we often think about transport and sustainability in terms of technologies such as electric vehicles, the role of transport in creating a sustainable society can be much more profound.
What roles can transport play in delivering environmental, economic and social change for a city? And in a globally connected city that is changing constantly, what are the challenges and successes in delivering a transport service that residents and visitors can count on every day?
